The majority of fundraising efforts occur in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Danielle Washington, a local small business owner in London, Ontario is organizing and running fundraising events throughout the year. Her personal goal is to raise $30,000 for Paper Kite Children’s Foundation this year.
“Paper Kite is truly committed to making a difference in the lives of orphans in Bihar, India. I was personally inspired to raise funds after visiting Paper Kite’s website and reading how Paper Kite takes financial generosity seriously. I chose to support Paper Kite because Paper Kite is a 100% volunteer run charity and the President and Executive Director have covered operation and field research costs. It is clear that Paper Kite is a unique and dedicated charity that provides support to one of the poorest areas in the world.”
